I left a review on a game and it got deleted. Here is the message I received :

To me it sounded pretty important, since a LOT of people use azerty keyboards, but for some reason it was flagged as abusive...

Weird... Is it because I said "fucked up" ? Come on, that's not that bad !
And the menu WAS bugged with an azerty keyboard.

There is no option "I didn't get to test the game", so I gave 0 stars.

I got a lot of reviews of my mine that were perfectly fine deleted by dumb ass mods. I blame BananaBreadMuffin, he likes to ruin everyone's day. You can't really do much, mods just abuse their powers beyond the point they were originally intended for.

You have to review in a proffessional manner. Give helpful tips, and TRY not to swear. People really hate it when you say shit like ''I CANT EVN PLAI THE GAME ITS JUST A WITE SCRAEN''. I mean you didnt say that, but you cant review it if you havent played it. Obviously, if the flash is made by a total fucktard you can slip in a sly swear, or if your injecting some sort of humour into a review, but it has to be constructive and you have to have PLAYED the game fully for it to be helpful.

Or just do what i did and block M-bot from PMing you :D

Don't review something if you can't play a game or see a movie. It doesn't deserve a 0/10 for not being visible on one person's screen. Look to see what other people say first. If they aren't having problems viewing it, leave it alone and just don't review it.

Yes, M-bot sucks sometimes but you have to review what they HAVE. you can give a higher score than a 0 for the effort at least.

Does it sound fair at all to give someone a zero when you haven't even given the Flash a chance? I know the game is bugged because of your keyboard, but I don't think that warrants a '0' review.

I can see why it was deleted, it was negative, useless, and very whiny. An artist doesn't want to hear you whine about how you couldn't play the game, he wants constructive criticism so he can improve. And giving him a zero is pointless and a waste of everyone's time.

Either the author didn't think about alternate keyboard layouts in his design, or he decided his audience is mostly Americans who use QWERTY reliably. However you said that he DID have a menu to change the keys and it DIDN'T work. If that's true that is definitely the author's fault, doing something poorly as opposed to deciding not to do it.

Still I agree with others, a review should be based on the body of work, and your review was not. It would have been better to contact the author by PM and ask about fixing the menu, than to give an abusive review.

Meh. I've sweared a lot more in reviews and they've never gotten deleted. Also there's hundreds upon hundreds of reviews saying that the reviewer couldn't play the game. So, yes, I suppose you were picked on. Then again, reviewing on here isn't the best..... >.>
